Spiritual Vitamins

I love the following comment "Begin each day with a Spiritual Vitamin.  Sit in a quiet place and read what is written.  Drop all Concerns.  Expect nothing.  Just Be Still." ~ Wayne Austin

These vitamins are different from the ones you take each day.  To help you with your fitness and health, to get over a cold or something worse.  These one's don't fix those types of needs.  These ones are very special.  They are used when your feeling spiritually low, when times are tough and you need a boost.

Wayne suggested in his blog that you take them for 30 days and then see how your coping.  These are once a day Vitamins.  If your one of those people who can't remember to take a pill then see if you can take the Daniel challenge and do it for 10 days.

At the same time don't forget to pray and leave it with God to nourish you also.  He will richly bless you in ways you've never thought of.

Lets start with the following:-

Anxious?
Take Vitamin A.
“All things work together for good for those who love God,
who are called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28)

Blue?
Take Vitamin B.
“Bless the Lord, O my soul,
and all that is within me,
bless his holy name.” (Psalm 103:1)

Crushed?
Take Vitamin C.
“Cast all your anxiety on him,
because he cares for you.” (1 Peter 5:7)

Depressed?
 Take Vitamin D.
“Draw near to God,
and he will draw near to you.” (James 4:8)

Empty?
Take Vitamin E.
“Enter his gates with thanksgiving,
and his courts with praise.
Give thanks to him, bless his name.”
(Psalm 100:4)
